Instructions for setting up a Ledger with multiple accounts

This is an additional guide to manually set up your Ledger with Pocket. The complete instructions on how to set up Ledger with Pocket can be found here.

This option should be used especially if you have multiple accounts on your Ledger and you want to set up the order to an explicit wallet (Not possible via "Continue in Ledger Live Button").

1. Copy bitcoin address from Ledger Live

To set up the Ledger manually, click the «Select address manually» button.

In the purple field, enter your desired Bitcoin address, which will be displayed by Ledger Live. We will explain how to do this in the following steps.

Connect your Ledger Nano S / X to your computer and enter the pin on your hardware wallet.

Open Ledger Live on your computer.

Click on the «Accounts» button in the left navigation bar.

Now select your desired bitcoin account to which you want to receive bitcoin from Pocket later.

Click on the «Receive» button. A new window will appear (See below).

By clicking on the «Continue» button, you confirm that you want to receive your bitcoin on this bitcoin account.

Confirm this on your hardware wallet by clicking both buttons at the same time.

Copy your bitcoin address and confirm by right-clicking your way through your hardware wallet until «Approve» appears on the display. Then click both buttons at the same time to confirm the bitcoin address.

Click the «Done» button and switch to the Pocket website.

Paste your copied bitcoin address into the purple field. After that, click on the «Confirm» button.

2. Sign bitcoin address

Click on the «Continue in Ledger Live» button and switch to the Ledger Live application. A new window will open there (See below).

Click on the «Open» button. A new window will open (See below).

Sign on your hardware wallet by clicking through with the right button until «Sign message» appears on the display. Then click both buttons at the same time to sign the message.

Your process in Ledger Live is now complete. To finalize the order, switch back to the Pocket website.

Your bitcoin address has been shared with Pocket. Now click on the «Confirm» button.
